Medline Extra-Tall Assist Bed Rail fits all Alterra series beds. This assist rail can be mounted either on the head section or on the foot section of the bed deck. This rail is made of steel that has a soft coating and offers a less institutional look. It perfectly complements low air loss mattresses and meets FDA entrapment guidelines for zones 1-4.
Low air loss mattresses are generally between 10" and 12" thick, about the same height as standard bed rails. Our extra-tall rails are the perfect complement for low air loss mattresses. These assist rails can be mounted either on the head section or on the foot section of the bed deck
