About the Evolv
The Evolv is a versatile standing frame which has over 60 different options and configurations. These options would be custom modifications on most other units, but they allow the Evolv to be adjusted and configured to meet the specific needs of a patient or facility. In addition to providing standing support, the Evolv also features an open base which allows for both independent and assisted transfers. An optional push-button Pow'r Up Lift means that you can also use the Evolv as a powered standing frame – this is a highly versatile piece of equipment.
The Evolv modular stander has been designed to put you in the optimal standing position for proper body alignment and increased comfort. This modular stander is designed so that, when the Evolv's pivot points are kept in alignment with the body's pivot points, features like the hip and lateral supports remain in place and aligned as you sit or stand. This continuous alignment reduces the amount of shear on your body, leading to increased comfort. Additionally, the Evolv is built to accommodate both knee and hip flexion contractures – the footplates are properly positioned to provide support, and knee pads are both independent and optional.
This standing frame is also highly useful for patient transfers. It features open rear legs and a center frame so that you can still access the Evolv, even if you use a patient lift for transfers. For increased transfer ease, an optional Swing-Away Front or Removable back can be added so that the Evolv truly suits your individual needs.
