Great for transfers from bed to wheelchair and wheelchair to commode. The patients bottom is always open so they wont be sitting on the sling when you set them down (see diagram below). Sling with Head support option is recommended for patients that cannot hold their head up or have little upper-body strength. Otherwise, the regular u-sling is your best bet for easy, comfortable transfers.
