Buy With Confidence: Med Mart is Now a Google Trusted Store

The next time you visit Med Mart’s website, you may notice a new feature in the bottom righthand corner. It’s a small box that reads, “Google Trusted Store.” That box is important because it means you can shop on our site with confidence that your order will be fulfilled accurately and on-time. Med Mart is proud to have recently qualified for the Google Trusted Store program. While Google doesn’t release stats about exactly how many stores are in the program, we do know that Med Mart is the only certified retailer in the home healthcare industry. That means Med Mart is the only online store in the industry that has met Google’s tough requirements for accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer service.

What does Google Trusted Store certification mean for you?

Whenever you see a Google Trusted Store badge on a website, you know that the store has successfully put itself through Google’s thorough examination process. Google looks at a wide range of criteria, including sales volume, delivery times, and buyer ratings when awarding Google Trusted Store badges. To keep its badge, a retailer must continue to meet the program’s high standards. Why such scrutiny? Google offers you protection every time you make a purchase from a Trusted Store. The first is in the form of free purchase protection. When you buy from a Trusted Store like Med Mart, you can opt-in for up to $1,000 in purchase protection should your items arrive damaged, incorrect, or even late. The second form of protection is Google’s ability to intervene in disputes with retailers. If you are unsatisfied with your order and feel the retailer isn’t responding quickly or appropriately, you can take the issue to the Google Trusted Store help desk. Google will then intervene, contact the retailer, and work out a solution. The Google Trusted Store badge ensures that the retailer has a history of meeting high service standards. It also means that if the retailer should fail to meet that high service standard on your order, you’ll be able to get protection and assistance from Google for a quick resolution.

How did Med Mart qualify for Google Trusted Store?

There are a number of criteria Med Mart had to meet in order to qualify for the Google Trusted Store badge. Many involve timely delivery. All Google Trusted Stores must ship more than 90 percent of orders by the estimated ship date and more than 80 percent of orders must arrive on time. Also, Google Trusted Stores must maintain a high customer satisfaction rate. At Med Mart, to stay in the program, we have to keep a minimum 4-star approval rating on Google. We also can’t have more than 1 in 300 orders escalated to Google dispute resolution. If and when those resolutions do happen, they have to be resolved on average in four days or less. Finally, we can’t have Google payout more than $5,000 in any rolling 365-day basis for customer purchase protection claims. If that happens, we could very well lose our spot in the Google Trusted Store program. These criteria are analyzed and recalculated on an ongoing basis, so we have to continuously meet Google’s high standards. That’s not a problem, though, because we hold ourselves to an even higher customer service standard. We know how important it is for you to get the mobility and healthcare aids you need when you need them.
