The Evolv Adult Glider features active standing technology that you won't find elsewhere. The active standing technology simultaneously strengthens the upper body while providing the lower body with range of motion. When using the Evolv Adult Glider, a patient moves the handles with their arms, creating a reciprocal movement in the legs.
Active standing technology enhances the medical benefits of standing. Rather than relying on the upper body for strength, patients using the Evolv Adult Glider use both their upper and lower bodies. They develop strength, learn to find their optimal standing position, and can make progress in rehabilitation.
This glider includes a padded seat and flip-up knee pads for easier transfers. The patient can also hold onto a positioning bar. This glider is also accessible via a patient lift, if needed.
The Evolv Adult Glider is highly adjustable so you can customize its settings to an individual patient's changing needs. You can adjust the resistance with 12 different settings. The seat depth, back angle, foot plate height, knee pad height, and handle height are also adjustable. This glider fits patients from 5'0” to 6'2” and up to 280 pounds.
