Comprising a drive, a sleep surface, and a specialized sheet, the Hercules Repositioning System is ingeniously designed to facilitate seamless repositioning maneuvers. The specialized sheet, boasting a length capable of accommodating up to 10 repositionings, securely attaches to the drive at the head of the bed. Cleverly placed clips along the sides of the sleep surface ensure precise alignment of the sheet, preventing any unwanted wrinkling or displacement.
When confronted with a patient who has shifted downward in the bed, the caregiver simply activates the system with the push of a button. The drive initiates a smooth upward motion of the sheet along the sleep surface, effortlessly guiding the patient back towards the head of the bed. Remarkably, this process requires less than 10 seconds to complete, demands no physical strain on the part of the caregiver, and offers unparalleled comfort for the patient throughout.
Please note that the Hercules Repositioning System includes the drive, sleep surface, and specialized sheet. The bed frame is not included, as this system is designed specifically for use with the Hercules Mattress System.
