JAZ-AP Shower Commode Chair

The Jaz Attendant Propelled Shower Commode Chair from Raz Designs is an affordable shower commode chair that provides exceptional comfort. The Jaz AP has a unique height-adjustable seat that requires no tools.  The seat can adjust from a low of 19” to a high of 24”.  The range can easily accommodate many user heights as well as varying heights of many types of wheelchairs or beds to make transfers as easy as possible.  The flip-back armrests and swing away, removable leg rests work together to make transfers much easier than many other shower commode chairs.  To make transfers even easier - as well as helping the chair be more stable - dual-locking casters come standard.  To help maintain cleanliness, the Jaz AP comes with a commode pan and lid that includes an anti-splash baffle and a high-gloss surface to make cleaning easy.

The Jaz-AP has excellent maneuverability allowing an attendant to easily move about their restroom. The Jaz-AP has standard features such as the height-adjustable seat, contoured seat, flip-up armrests, swing away leg rests, and a soft and flexible back support to provide excellent comfort.  The dual locking casters, easy to clean frame, and commode pan all promote safety and cleanliness.  Plenty of options are available for additional support, comfort, and positioning.  An overlay for the seat can provide additional comfort and pressure relief.   Pelvic and chest belts can be added for safely securing the user in the chair for those with concerns of sliding or remaining upright.  If the user needs assistance beyond a chest belt to remain setting upright, swing-away lateral supports are available.  Even a head support option with a molded pad is available for those with neck control needs.
