Wheelchairs
Sometimes brakes get loosened over time, screws or bolts may need tightened, seatbelts adjusted, perhaps anti-tippers weren't needed at one point and now they are. These are the few possibilities for a wheelchair repair. Even if we didn't sell you the wheelchair, call us and we'll do our best to make the repair happen. The only time we have trouble with repairs are if we aren't able to get a part that is needed for your specific equipment, if we don't sell that brand or if it's an older model, we will still do our best and make an assessment for you.
Scooters and Powerchairs
Over time, batteries will need replaced, joysticks calibrated, adjustments and tightening of the mechanics of your power mobility device. We're your go-to! Our repair technicians have over 100 years of experience combined and sure do know their stuff! Call us for an assessment and to make an appointment if you feel something's just not right with your equipment.
Walkers and canes
There are many types of walkers and canes, some with wheels, some with tips and gliders, some with tennis balls. Should you have a 4-wheel walker with brakes, they'll need tightened over time. Eventually you'll need a new rubber tip for your cane or perhaps glides on your walker with no wheels. Look no further! At Med Mart we have all the odds and ends to make sure your equipment stays as safe and effective as possible!
Lift Chairs and Stair Lifts
If your stair lift is reading an error code or if your lift chair suddenly stops working, call us! We'll make sure you get the most of the warranty guarantees and help in any way possible!
Prices and Labor
Repair rates are a flat fee plus any charges that may occur for parts. For many repairs, such as cane tips, walker glides, etc. we don't charge to install those for you. Alot of times if what you need will simply take a few moments and a screwdriver to tighten a walker brake or something similiar, repair rates wouldn't apply.
If you have a repair question or need, stop into one of our 3 locations or call us if you'll need to schedule us to come to your home for the repair. We'd be happy to help!
