Feather Featherweight Lightweight Wheelchair

The Feather Chair weighs just 19 lbs. with the rear wheels on the frame. With the rear wheels removed you could reduce the chair weight an additional 5.5 lbs., leaving the frame and upholstery a mere 13.5 lbs. The Feather Chair comes standard with full length, permanent padded armrests. Swing away, removable legrests come standard with an option for elevating legrests.

What Makes This Different
The incredible low weight of 19 lbs. is the chair’s main attraction, but the Feather Chair has some more specialty features. Attendant rear wheel locks which are mounted on the push handles give the person pushing the wheelchair from behind far more control over the braking and slowing of the chair. These brakes can be especially helpful when going up inclines or descending ramps. A fold down backrest makes the Feather Chair incredibly compact and easy to handle. Its tiny size and convenient manageability make taking it in and out of any trunk almost effortless.

Why We Like It
The Feather Chair has a 250 lbs. weight capacity with a comfortable 18” wide seat. The chair comes with a 1” thick nicely padded backrest and seat. There are several other accessories that can be added at a small cost that will add to the chair’s comfort. Those options include a travel bag, drink holder and cell phone holder.
