Human Care’s Barton Convertible Chair I-400X is a no-lifting multi-functional device that helps caregivers, to more efficiently and effectively, perform their safe patient handling practices. The height adjustability of the chair allows for safe, ergonomic transfers for the caregiver. The tilt and space allows the patient to be repositioned into an infinite number of positions and the ability to stay seated longer in the hair. The Barton I400X also has a tilt forward option, to help get the patient up, moving, and back home as soon as possible.

The Barton I-400 enables lateral transfer in a supine position safely and easily which builds confidence in both the patient and the caregiver. Its portability allows usage in multiple rooms in a department and the ability to utilize the Patient Transfer System (PTS) simplifies the transfer of patients from a bed to a chair in addition to helping protect the caregiver from injury.
