Lightweight Performance for Speed & Control
Weighing approximately 37–47 lbs depending on size, the Hippocampe Marathon is engineered for agility and performance. Its lightweight frame enables quick acceleration while maintaining excellent stability thanks to its low seating position. Slim, high-performance tires provide smooth rolling on roads, while optional all-terrain trail wheels allow the chair to transition easily to hiking paths and off-road environments. Ball-bearing wheels and ergonomic push handles provide responsive steering and control.
Built for Safety, Stability & Versatility
The Hippocampe Marathon includes multiple safety features to protect both rider and pusher during activity. Armrest nets protect hands, a footrest net secures feet, and a safety strap connects the rider and pusher for added stability. A powerful disc brake system ensures reliable stopping power and doubles as a parking brake. The wheelchair can also be quickly disassembled thanks to removable wheels and a detachable push bar, making transport and storage easy for events, travel, or everyday outdoor use.
