Overview
The Rogue 2 features an  aluminum tubing frame to provide a highly rigid feel that gives the ride incredible responsiveness. The 1-3/8” tubing produces a stiff, strong, and lightweight wheelchair. The rigid frame and light weight help to conserve your energy. Every push is maximized wherever you go thus minimizing the amount of effort you exert. A great new feature for the Rogue 2 is its Ergonomic Backrest Mechanism. The locking mechanism for the backrest can be released with just one hand. Transfers are easier as it allows you to leave the side guards on when folding the backrest. The unique design allows you to set the backrest in a recline position of up to 9 degrees. The recline is great for relieving back pressure or getting dressed while in your wheelchair. Fine-tuning the positioning of your wheelchair is easy with the Rogue 2. The underside of the ovalized seat tubing displays the center of gravity settings. The Rogue 2 has the measurements stamped directly onto the frame. With the numbers inked onto the underside of the frame, everything remains discrete keeping the beauty of the frame pristine.

What Makes This Different
The Rogue 2 features RP Tuning which is truly unique to Ki Mobility. The RP Tuning is a rack and pinion gear that is infinitely adjustable so that the fork can be brought to 90 degrees. Regardless of the seat to floor height combination you choose for the front and back, the caster adjustment system will ensure your caster assembly will be correctly aligned providing you with a smooth roll. To make sure you are getting the perfect set up the adjustments can be made even while the user is seated in the chair. The adjustment is easy.  All you need to be able to do is loosen and tighten a screw. There’s no need to completely disassemble a caster fork, align the tiny pieces and then try to put them back together again. Also unique to the Rogue 2 is the option for their one-of-a-kind side guards.  The Adjustable Fender Side Guards are available in either aluminum or carbon fiber. These side guards are height adjustable so you can set them to your preferred comfort.  What’s especially different about these side guards is a padded insert on the inside which provides both a layer of comfort as well as protection.  The fender gives your clothes, body, and hands protection from your wheels and everything your tires collect in the treads. The rim is made of aluminum with straight steel spokes in a black satin finish.  The 18 steel spokes connect the high flange hub to the rim giving the Maxx Performance a highly rigid and responsive ride that gives you the most roll for every push you give it.

Why We Like It
The simplistic single tube frame design of the Rogue 2 makes it incredibly compact and lightweight. If you fold down the backrest, you have a rigid frame that easily fits into the trunk, front or rear seat of a car making loading and unloading incredibly easy as well as allowing room for other passengers. The simple single tube design does not take away from the  rigidity. The highly rigid frame creates a highly responsive wheelchair which minimizes both your energy and effort.

Measuring Guide

Seat Depth1

Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.

Back Height2

Measured from the seat base to the top of the wheelchair back. Depends on how much upper back support is needed, and also affects freedom for the upper body to rotate.

Rear Seat to Floor3

Measurement from the ground to the rear seat edge. Relative to the front seat-to-floor dimension, this determines the rearward slope ("dump" or "squeeze") of the wheelchair seat.

Hanger Angle4

Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular.

Seat Width5

Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant.

Wheel Camber6

Angle of the wheel relative to the vertical. More camber improves stability and agility, but also limits ability to pass through narrow spaces. A typical daily wheelchair uses three degrees of camber.

Front Seat to Floor7

Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Do not add the footrest clearance if the wheelchair will be foot-propelled.

Footrest Width8

Measure from the inside of each legrest tubing the distance or desired distance between legrests.Center of Gravity9Measure from the front of the seat back post to the center of the rear axel.

Seat to Footrest Length10

Measure from the edge of the seat upholstery to the top rear of the footrest.

Backrest Angle11

Measure the the angle of the back post to the floor. Ninety degrees will be perpendicular to the floor, to approximate the angle from the back post to the seat, subtract two degrees from measurment for every .5" of dump.
