The Contesa® BodyMove Hi-Low Homecare Bed was developed to deliver exceptional fall prevention while maintaining a warm, residential appearance. Designed for skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care environments, the Contesa lowers to an ultra-safe 3.9 inches from the floor, dramatically reducing fall risk. Its modern design blends seamlessly into care settings without the institutional look of traditional hospital beds—providing both dignity and protection.

The Contesa is built for flexibility. Height adjusts from 3.9” low to 29” nursing height, allowing caregivers to work ergonomically while maintaining fall prevention at rest. Facilities can select from 36” or 42” width options, and the optional extension kit increases the mattress platform length from 80” to 84”. Integrated profiling functions, including Auto-Contour positioning, simultaneously elevate the head and legs to reduce shear forces and enhance comfort. The chair-like comfort position supports upright activities such as reading, dining, and therapy.

Contesa incorporates innovative FloorBed technology, helping reduce the risk and severity of fall-related injuries. For residents at higher risk, compatible safety mats can be added to transform potential falls into gentle rolls. Accora safety mats are engineered to match the bed and mattress height, maintaining consistent surface levels to prevent reportable falls.
