The Etac Turner Pro Transfer Aid provides a new, safety-enhanced way to transfer a person with limited mobility from seat to seat in both homes and healthcare facilities. This new Sit-to-Stand Aid makes user transfer between beds, chairs, wheelchairs and toilets an easy and seamless process that enhances the safety of both patient and caregiver. Its unique design allows its user to hold the top handle to stand up and then be carefully turned to their new location. The handlebar and rotation function creates the perfect conditions for quick transfers from one seat to another. In addition, integrated kneepads support the user as they are transferred. These kneepads are indented and soft for the user's comfort. This item's ergonomic structure and function also promote good posture for both the user and the caregiver who assists them and makes it easier for the caregiver to safely balance their own weight against the patient's. Both of these factors reduce the risk of injury for both parties. Finally, the bright orange, dual-handle is bright and easy for users with vision impairment or dementia to see and it gives both the user and patient the opportunity to go through the transfer process independently without physically touching.
In addition to these safety benefits, the Etac Turner Pro patient transfer device is a lightweight and transportable transfer aid option. This Mobility Aid's wheels allow the operator to efficiently glide the Etac Turner PRO across a facility or home without having to worry about lifting or otherwise carrying the Turner where it's needed. Its folding design and compact nature allow it to fit into the back of most cars for transport. These features also allow it to fit into small spaces, such as between patient beds when it is in use.
