At only 37 lbs., the Featherweight Scooter is the lightest electric scooter on the planet.
Taking advantage of brand-new materials, the Featherweight sets a new standard. Practically everyone can lift this scooter into a car, truck, or SUV., and is super easy to maneuver.

Transporting the Featherweight Scooter could not be easier. It folds down into a compact package. To fold the scooter pull out the fold knob at the same time gently lower the seatback down into its folded position. Now with the seat folded, loosen off the tiller adjuster knob and gently lower the tiller into the folded position. The tiller handles should be able to rest between the chassis. Re-tighten the tiller knob to hold the tiller into position. This will then allow you to pull the scooter on its rear tip wheels. Once you arrive at your destination, unfolding takes less than a minute.

Standard features include a weight capacity of 265 lbs., a 5 mph maximum speed, a 61.2" turning radius, and many more.

own home without the help of others. For all the difference it can make in your life, the researching and buying a mobility scooter is not always pleasant. There are so many options and so many decisions to make. It can be overwhelming to the first-time buyer and veteran scooter owners alike. Here are a few things to consider when buying a mobility scooter. Do you plan to use it indoors or outdoors?

Maneuvering your scooter inside your home will require a tight-turning radius and compact design. On the other hand, if you plan to use your scooter primarily outside, you'll want to consider one that can provide a comfortable ride over rough terrain and on even pavement. Speed and stability are important factors here too. Are you planning on transporting your scooter anywhere? If you plan on running most of your errands on your scooter from home, portability isn't a major concern.

If you need to take your scooter with you in a car or other vehicle however, you'll want to consider compact scooters that can be folded down to fit in the trunk of a car or easily taken apart and put back together. Will you take your scooter on roads? Local laws vary on the type of scooters that are allowed on public roads. So look into them before making a scooter-decision. In general, for road travel, most local regulations require

that scooters be able to achieve eight miles per hour and must have headlights and taillights. Will you need to climb up curves or steep hills? Going uphill in a scooter requires little bit of extra power. If you anticipate a lot of uphill travel, consider a four-wheel mobility scooter. [music]
