The PureTilt® Tilt-in-Space Wheelchair is a unique manual wheelchair designed by an Occupational Therapist to provide a safe and independent transition for users to achieve optimal comfort. It features a user-adjustable tilt control, allowing wheelchair users to readjust their posture throughout the day, which is crucial for comfort and pressure relief. The PureTilt is also equipped with an ergonomic, contoured backrest that has adjustable height, anti-tippers for safety, and a length-adjustable non-removable padded leg rest. These standard features provide users with maximum comfort and support.

Upright postures help promote optimal:

Food intake/digestion.
User comfortability during wheelchair propulsion.
Body positioning for comfort for increased out of bed tolerance

Tilt in Space:

Self-tilt promotes independence to participate in more daily/ leisurely activities.
Caregiver can also adjust positioning to help prevent discomfort when seated for extended periods.
Provides user with more control over the position of their body in space to provide any pressure relief they may need
