The ObboMed OB-2650 PremiumAir™ Mattress delivers advanced pressure injury prevention through alternating pressure therapy combined with multi-angle lateral rotation. Air cells inflate and deflate in customizable 10–40 minute cycles, continuously redistributing pressure to reduce pressure points, improve circulation, and lower the risk of pressure ulcers during extended bed rest. Integrated self-lateral rotation (15°) and right/left/auto rotation up to 25° and 40° auto rotation promote movement, enhance respiratory function, and support improved clinical outcomes for high-acuity patients.

For enhanced patient safety, the OB-2650 features patented inflatable air-filled guardrails, offering a soft yet supportive alternative to traditional metal side rails. The mid-section opening guardrail allows safer and easier patient entry and exit, while the Quick Release Valve enables caregivers to manually deflate or re-inflate the rails as needed. This injury-reducing design helps prevent falls without bruising or impact risk, making it ideal for long-term care, acute care, and home health environments.

The PremiumAir Comfort-Focused True Low Air Loss (LAL) system is positioned beneath the cover layer and delivers 15 liters per minute of airflow, powered by a built-in 820L airflow fan. This high-performance ventilation system actively removes moisture while regulating heat at the skin surface, helping maintain a dry, comfortable microclimate. Additional features such as massager, warmer, Fowler/Sitting support, and Max-Inflate (Auto Firm) mode ensure consistent support, prevent bottoming out, and enhance comfort for patients with Stage I–IV pressure ulcers.
