The ObboMed OB-3620 UltraAir™ Alternating Pressure Mattress is engineered to deliver advanced pressure ulcer prevention for high-acuity and bariatric patients. Using air cells that inflate and deflate in customizable 10–40 minute cycles, the mattress continuously redistributes pressure to reduce pressure points, improve circulation, and support restful sleep during extended bed rest. Integrated self-lateral rotation enhances movement and skin protection while maintaining patient comfort and stability.

To support therapeutic movement and respiratory health, the OB-3620 offers multiple lateral rotation angles, including 15° self-rotation, 25° left/right/auto rotation, and 40° auto rotation. These controlled movements increase patient activity, assist lung expansion and secretion clearance, reduce the risk of pulmonary infections, and enhance physical therapy outcomes. For fall prevention, the mattress includes patented inflatable air-filled guardrails, providing soft yet firm support without the injury risks associated with metal side rails. A mid-section opening allows safe patient entry and exit, while manual inflation and deflation give caregivers flexible control.

The OB-3620 features a Dynamic True Low Air Loss (LAL) system positioned beneath the cover layer, delivering 23 liters per minute of airflow powered by a built-in 820L airflow fan. This advanced ventilation system actively manages heat and moisture at the skin surface, maintaining a dry, comfortable microclimate—critical for patients with Stage I–IV pressure ulcers. Additional clinical modes, including Easy-Go bedpan and shampoo, Fowler/Sitting support, massager, Static mode, and Max-Inflate (Auto Firm), ensure safe transfers, prevent bottoming out, and provide comprehensive comfort for both patients and caregivers.
