For limited mobility patients at a medium risk of developing pressure ulcers, the Salute RDX Mattress System can help to both prevent and facilitate the healing of wounds. Designed for patients on long-term bed rest, the Salute RDX features eight-inch cell-in-cell flotation technology. The pressure relief function maintains a generous flow of dry air underneath the patient which helps to prevent the formation of pressure ulcers, while also helping to heal existing pressure ulcers. Thanks to the eight-option setting on the Slimline pump, caregivers can adjust and tailor the system to meet a patient's individual needs and to accommodate different comfort levels. Caregivers can select 5, 10, 15, and 20-minute cycles to create appropriate alternating pressure for optimum care and comfort.
At only 8 inches high, this mattress is a low-profile option that still allows for ideal caretaking access. Happy Heel technology creates a footrest for sensitive heels. In the event of a power outage, the cell-in-cell design helps to support the upper torso and sacrum until the power is restored. This mattress can accommodate patients up to 500 pounds.
