Walkers
Walkers are among the most affordable mobility aids and are used by many people as they age. We highly recommend using a walker if you struggle with balance and need extra stability while moving around. We offer a range of styles and sizes, including walkers with and without wheels. Wheeled walkers allow you to roll the walker in front of you, where as standard walkers with four legs require you to lift the walker with each step. Both styles are simple and easy to use, but keep in mind that a little more coordination is necessary when using a walker with wheels. Vehicle Lifts
Once you’ve found your perfect scooter or wheelchair, make sure you have a reliable way to take it with you on the go! If you have a portable model you most likely will not need a vehicle lift, but if you have a full size scooter or wheelchair these lifts can come in very handy. Most vehicle lifts are battery powered and operated by a switch either on the base of the lift or on a handheld remote. Make sure you know the weight of your mobility device (and feel free to ask us if you are unsure) before purchasing a vehicle lift. Car Transfer Lifts
When it’s time to hit the road, a car transfer lift can make your transition from a wheelchair into a vehicle much more comfortable and secure. These specialty patient lifts are made to be operated with a patient sling and the help of a caregiver. Vehicle lifts come in a variety of designs to meet specific patient needs.
