The Roadster 4 from Merits Health is a reasonably priced 4-wheel mobility scooter that comes with many great features. This scooter can travel up to six (6) miles between charges and has a maximum speed of four (4) miles per hour.
The advantage of 4 wheels design is the added stability while moving but does also increase the turning radius (43.5"/110 cm). The non-marking puncture proof tires means you'll never be left stranded with a flat tire. The scooter has a two (2) inch ground clearance.
The Roadster 4 comes with a 18 inch width by 18 inch depth stadium seat. For your comfort, the seat can be adjusted to a height between 17-19 inches above the scooter deck. The armrests, meanwhile, can be flipped up when exiting or entering the scooter and width between armrests can also be adjusted for additional room.
The Roadster features an additional charging port right underneath the dashboard for easy plug-in. Also a detachable battery pack with built-in charging port lets you charge it anywhere you go.
Transporting the Roadster is easier than many other mobility scooters thanks to its auto latching lockup design which lets this scooter be disassembled that can be easily stored for transport. If you just need to lift the scooter, the built-in handles on the front and rear of the scooter will make that easier.
The Roadster 4 4-wheel scooter comes in either a red or blue frame and has several useful accessories that allows you to customize the scooter to your specific needs.
