This transfer device's basic but effective design makes it the perfect choice for patients that retain upper body strength who would like to be active in their transfer but, need a little assistance making short-distance transfers.
Whether used for temporary or extended care, this lift provides sit-to-stand transitions that increase patient independence. For use, patients simply position their feet on the lift's clearly marked footplate, lean into the adjustable and padded knee pads for support, then pull themselves to standing with a handlebar located across the top of the frame. Caregivers provide assistance and ensure maximized safety for the patient. Caregivers also experience less weight strain, which can directly lead to minimized fatigue and reduced chance of injury. Wheels, along with easily engaged brakes, allow for seamless transfers over short distances.
